Mihran Aroian is an assistant professor of instruction for the Rosenthal Department of Management at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. He teaches courses for graduates and undergraduates on business strategy and policy; entrepreneurship, innovation, and incubation; corporate ethics and responsibility; organizational behavior; general management and strategy; strategic management and business policy; foundations of organizational behavior and administration; and foundations of management and organizational behavior.

Aroian is highly accomplished in academia and business, having achieved numerous research publications, newspaper articles, and consults for respected organizations. He has experience as a project manager for large-scale research projects, such as an analysis of reproductive toxicity and classification of glufosinate-ammonium for Bayer Crop Science. He has also published research on genetics and psychology, including a quantitative analysis on the whistleblower effect and research on replicating cell hybridization in human skin fibroblasts.

His achievements have earned him invitations to speak at conferences for organizations such as the International Center for Academic Integrity and the Latin Economics and Business Association. Aroian’s articles have appeared in The Dallas Morning News and The Armenian Weekly. He has also served on the board of directors for Research Applications Inc. and has been a chairman on the 100th Armenian Genocide Commemoration Committee of Texas.

Outside of academia, Aroian has worked as a strategic consultant for The Brückner Group Inc. and served as president and CEO of Kaylone BioPharmaceuticals and TMI Capital Inc., in addition to co-founding Science Partners LLC. He has also been consulting with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia on building a national technology transfer center to help Armenian scientists to commercialize their scientific innovations.

Aroian earned a B.S. from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Texas McCombs.
