Jan Schneider teaches finance in the MBA and Master of Science in Finance programs. His classes cover advanced corporate finance, financial markets, and quantitative trading strategies.

Before coming to UT, Schneider was an assistant professor of finance at the Anderson School of Management at the University of California—Los Angeles. 

He has a Ph.D. in finance from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and a diploma in economics from the Freie University of Berlin.
