Daniel Campbell is a lecturer in the Department of Finance at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. He also serves as chief investment officer with Long View Equity of Austin, where he acts as the managing director and oversees all real estate investments. He previously spent 14 years with Endeavor Real Estate Group, ending as a principal pursuing commercial property acquisition and development opportunities.

While at Endeavor, he served on the investment committee as well as the operating committee. Campbell has experience leading large ground-up developments, acquiring properties of all different asset types, and managing a $500 million hedge fund made up of commercial mortgage-backed securities.

He has a bachelor’s in finance from Texas A&M University and an MBA in real estate finance from Texas McCombs.
